The Art World in Downtown Chicago, Then and Now
Project Information
Project Summary:
This project looks at specific sites in Chicago's art world in both the late nineteenth and early twenty-first centuries, focusing on the area known as Chicago's Loop. We trace these "sites" with a StoryMap JS from the Knight Lab at Northwestern University. They are chosen for their geographic proximity as much as other factors, with the idea that interested persons could conduct a walking tour, in person, of these sites in Chicago.
