Addams meets Dutch statesmen
Description
Addams and Jacobs meet with Prime Minister Cort van der Linden and Foreign Minister Loudon. Of the meeting with the Dutch officials, Addams writes in a letter to Mary Rozet Smith: "I have not lost my head. There is just one chance in 10 thousand…. You can never understand unless you were here, how you would be willing to do anything" (Quoted in Levine 207).
